Yamaha Clarinet Pull Through - Medium CLSM3
Product Information
Official Yamaha pull-through/swab for Clarinets. This medium size suits Eb, Bb, A and Alto Clarinets*. The high quality absorbent material effectively removes moisture from the inside of your instrument when pulled through every time you play.
The swab is made of a special fabric (and shaped specifically) to pass smoothly through your instrument, reducing the chance of it becoming stuc. The outer package is made of paper and this product is certified as a ‘Yamaha Eco-Product’. See dimensions below:

I chose this pull-through because it has cords either end to help you pull it back out the same way if it gets stuck, especially in the mouthpiece. Quite thin but does a good job.
As a clarinet pull through cleaning cloth, very good.
Very quickly absorbs moisture
Although the material is good at picking up moisture,it is very thin and the pull through cord is not long enough for the alto clarinet (as advertised) without having to dismantle the clarinet first. Disappointed therefore.
The supplier responded:Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry you aren't totally happy with this item. We believe the implication of it being suitable for Alto Clarinet is more to do with the volume of the pull through being suitable for the body tube diameter. However we do of course understand and appreciate it would be even better if it fitted full length through the Alto Clarinet whilst assembled, however this would render it too long for all the other options and bearing in mind the limited number of Alto Clarinet buyers wanting a specific Alto Clarinet pull through we imagine they've (BG) made this compromise. Thanks for raising it with us though, and thanks again for using Dawkes Music.
These are better than most: I bought a cheaper version locally but this one is much better.
