The design of the crook is based on the Professional 62 model to give a flexible, responsive tone. We were really impressed with the 280 in our recordings as it had impeccable tuning and a free blowing sound that is unparalleled at this price range.

Great quality fantastic sound

Very happy with this. I chose it over the WTS-200BL even though the YTS-280 has a more jazz-style sound. While I do not intend to go in that direction I am still learning so I went for an instrument that I would get a decent resale value on and this is the one. Plus, who know, I might be able to get that Blues sound with a different mouthpiece!
