The Yamaha YHR-668 MkII French Horn has all the great qualities of its predecessor, including incredibly accurate intonation and an improved playability. The sound is rich, warm, full of life and projects well in even the largest concert halls.

A new leadpipe design and a new bell taper and thickness give improved resonance, quicker response and enhanced tonal projection in every range while the ideal amount of resistance gives you full control from pianissimo to fortissimo. 

The latest addition to the Yamaha range of French horns is designed with the orchestral player in mind. Its large bell and bore along with its more compact rotor and tuning slide layout give this horn great projection and power in symphonic works, whilst having enough resistance to play in smaller ensembles and quieter passages.
