Product Information

Yamahas signature bass trombone, developed with the great Douglas Yeo, the YBL-822G bass trombone is an improved version of the popular 622. The improvements, many very small, add up to a big difference in sound. The gold brass bell and tuning slide add warmth and depth to the sound and the rotor register is much more responsive. Playability has been hugely improved in all registers.

Additionally, the 2nd rotor may be removed for situations where a Bb/F instrument will suffice on its own. the change is very straight forward, removing 2 screws and the rotor sections simply lifts out.
