A new arrival to the UK, this Wood Stone professional model Soprano Saxophone comes from the Ishimori makers in Japan. We're very excited to be stocking the Wood Stone models which are exclusive to Dawkes here in the UK. Designed by the expert luthiers at Ishimori in Japan, this pro model is a detachable straight Soprano outfit.

This Soprano includes a few neat touches such as the 'Automagic' screw which is a heavyweight resonant material. This gives extra tonal weight and enhances the pitch stability. The instrument also comes fitted with a hard rubber thumb button for the left hand and a metal thumb hook for the right hand.

In terms of the keywork the Tech team at Ishimori have developed a new patented tilt adjustment rod. It is installed on the G# and F# key that are mounted between the right hand main keys and left hand main keys. This allows a better hold of the G#/Bb key when pressing the right hand keys, this helps keep the instrument more stable.

This Soprano also benefits from a newly designed right hand key adjustment screw mechanism. The new design allows for easy adjustment by Technicians whilst also reducing key noise in this area.

In summary, the Wood Stone professional Saxophones excel in their manufacturing quality and tonal expression. We've found the Alto and Tenor models to be very popular with discerning players and expect this Soprano to do just as well. Intonation is impeccable across the whole range of the instrument and because of the 2 supplied necks, any player can find a suitable combination of comfort and response.
