This Trumpet lyre is nickel plated and has a rubber coated adjustable clamp so it won't damager your instrument.

I was having trouble getting a lyre to fit my flugel. This does the job and it also fits a tenor horn. I can place the music further down the instrument to accommodate my failing eyesight. The clamp does slip a bit but I will experiment with putting some padding underneath it.

Bought 2 but on the second one, the red protective sheath was too big and partially covered the hole where the tightening thread is, thus it wouldn't tighten up far enough. Had to do a bit of surgery to cut the top off and now its fine.
