We recently received a delivery of our standard Windcraft Tenor Sax plastic mouthpieces WITHOUT our usual Windcraft logo stamped on it. As such we've reduced the price and made them available on sale. They are exactly the same as our standard AMW601 model but without the logo.This Windcraft student model has been carefully designed and is consistently produced by JJ Babbitt, the home of Otto Link and Meyer. The plastic material is resonant and durable and unlike many cheaper student model mouthpieces this facing curve has been carefully designed and is expertly machined.
An ideal student model Tenor Sax mouthpiece for any new beginner, or for someone looking for an affordable spare to keep in another case/location etc.

I have played and serviced clarinets and saxophones for many years. I recently acquired and restored a tenor sax that was 'beyond economical repair', and I bought some items including a Windcraft mouthpiece. I have tried the new mouthpiece using about 20 different reeds, and in all cases I get a squeak when I try to increase volume and play staccato. This doesn't occur with the unbranded one that came with the instrument.
The supplier responded:Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry to hear that this mouthpiece isn't playing well for you. In the hope that we can find a mouthpiece that works well for you I would be more than happy to honour an exchange of mouthpiece, did you have any particular other mouthpieces that you'd like to take a look at?
