I've been trialling this mouthpiece several times in the past week and would give it a very good recommendation as a beginner mouthpiece, at a bargain price too. It had a very good light tone with a pleasant degree of brightness. It had very good intonation and worked well with American/Jazz cut reeds, due to its long facing. Nice jazzy sound.
