The Vandoren V16 Tenor Sax mouthpiece has been re-introduced to the market. This mouthpiece is made with the legendary ‘Bell Metal’ brass, then plated with 24-karat gold. These are the hidden gem amongst Tenor mouthpieces, often overshadowed by the 'latest and greatest' (or those shouting loudest) modern niche makers - but make no mistake these V16 models are absolutely packed full of depth, character and tone.

This is the Small chamber model which is in fact the original V16 model design from the 1980's. It has plenty of bite and punch and immediacy of tone. It's an exceptionally well made mouthpiece with a full tone due to the measurements and material. 

There is also a medium chamber model which is inspired by the famous mouthpieces from the 50's/60's. A round and deep sound but still with plenty of bite, focus and projection. A large chamber model is also available to special order and is more like Vintage Link pieces. We find the small or medium models are the most popular.
