Product Information
The Vandoren Java Red Cut are a filed reed offering a full, rich and centred sound. Developed from the original green Java, the red models are more flexible than their elder green models with a little more tonal body.Importantly they are filed and thus have a different response depending on the facing curve of your mouthpiece. Rather than suggesting they are a 'replacement' for the green box, we'd suggest that different players will prefer one or the other. The best option is to test them back to back and see which suits you best.

One or two duds but all in all fine
The last box of these reeds, 4 reeds could not be used. We are giving it another try.
