Arriving at the top of their professional Clarinet range, the Uebel Zenit is a unique looking and sounding model that competes healthily with it's Buffet, Yamaha, Backun or Selmer competitors.

The German maker Uebel has been producing high-quality Clarinets since 1936. They use a carefully aged (7 years) and selected range of Grenadilla wood, of which only a handful of the finest cuts are used for the Zenit range of Clarinets. In the Uebel workshops a mix of traditional artisan skills are blended with the latest ultra-modern manufacturing processes to create instruments with character and impeccable intonation and tone.

The sound on this Zenit model has a beautifully rich, lush and resonant character. The intonation is impeccable across the whole range of the instrument and it offers a very flexible dynamic range from the quietest whisper to the loudest forte. We've found it to have quite a unique tone when compared with other premium models in this price point.

The Zenit also features four barrels in total which are split into two model types. The Traditional regular barrel showcases the classic sound of all Uebel Clarinets; a clear tone with great flexibility. The Thick barrel adds extra wood to the body and offers a more robust and deep tone whilst retaining a quick response.

In summary a welcome addition to the premium professional marketplace, the Zenit offers the best of German manufacturing with old-school tonal character. This instrument is well worth considering for any discerning Clarinet player.
