This is the Selmer Supreme Tenor, the absolute pinnacle of modern saxophone manufacturing, picking up where the Alto production left off, and now taking it’s place at the very top of the Pro tenor sax market. This model features the Antiqued lacquer finish, a beautiful brushed brass finish, which shows off the intricate engraving throughout the instrument.
Selmer’s Supreme tenor has the flexibility and lightness of touch of the best vintage saxes, but with modern advances in response and tuning. It’s powerful and can cut through an ensemble, but it has a huge dynamic range and is stable and secure to play at the quietest ppp.
This sax was bought and returned to us within just a few months, with the previous owner taking excellent care of the saxophone. It’s supplied in the original case, with the original Selmer Concept mouthpiece and other accessories, some of which were never even unpacked.
