This is a very nice condition Selmer Series III Jubilee (latest model) Soprano Sax, supplied with both the original necks, curved and straight. The lacquer is very clean throughout with only light signs of normal usage. Like all our pre-owned Saxophones this Selmer Soprano has been fully checked and set-up in our workshop prior to sale and comes with a 6 month warranty.

The whole SA80 range was re-designed in 2012/2013 which essentially consisted of a weight loss exercise for the Series II and Series III models. The new Jubilee editions carried less unnecessary bulk and as such the instruments responded with more speed and accuracy. To put it another way, the Selmer feel of old was re-introduced and the modern range was more inline with player demands for resonance, quick response and agility of tone.

This particular Series III Soprano is in very nice clean condition with only very light signs of general use. The lacquer and mechanics are all very clean and the pads in great condition. Like any second hand instrument from Dawkes it has been professionally checked and set-up in our woodwind workshop prior to sale. This instrument is presented in a Selmer Light Series case which is both very portable and protective.

In summary this would be an excellent pro-level Soprano for any advanced Alto/Tenor player who wants to add Soprano to their range. If you already play Sop but on a student/intermediate level then this would be a huge step forward in terms of sound quality. The Selmer III offers a rich, vibrant Soprano tone with great intonation and balance.
