I'm no convinced as yet that it's much better than my cheaper two-screw ligature.

Good ligature I have been using this three times a day for aprox one hour practice secession, and can say twelve days usage since delivery the ligature has performed well no slipping down mouthpiece.
I would recommend this ligature

irst class service fro Dawkes Music arrived within two days, I am a 72 year and started learning the Alto sax this May and have had trouble with my low notes since starting my lessons, I felt embarrassed playing duets with my teacher and was never happy with the ligature supplied with my Alto sax. Which has two screws and tighten on the reed side. Must say this ligature is excellent and have used it for a short while, my low notes are 100% better the tone sounds better. I usually practice for five hours a day with one lesson a week. I would recommend this ligature for the money it's great.

Used with a Selmer S90, for a slightly brighter sound. However have gone back to my Rovner dark.

Selmer single screw ligature. Good quality and like the ease of blowing with my metal Lakey m/piece. However, can slip off if not carefully secured so can be risky on a gig.

For 20 pounds this is a great buy fom a trusted maker . Well made - looks good - and above all does the job its supposed to do. If you are looking for a ligature with the convenience of just one screw you cant go wrong with this ligature . Reccomended I
