The Schreiber S13 Bassoon is designed for a young student playing their first Bassoon. It is produced in Germany from hand-selected Alpine maple. This Bassoon features a 22 key silver plated German system (full spec below). We'd suggest this is an instrument designed for a new young player wanting a quality instrument to begin with.

This S13 Schreiber Bassoon has ergonomically adapter keywork which has been specially conceived for small hands and children. The extension of some levers on the wing joint and spatulas for small fingers make for trouble-free handling.

The manufacturing of Bassoons is the Schreiber firms speciality and they are a leading brand in the field. Highly qualified and experienced craftsmen produce an instrument that is made to last and offers easy response, perfect intonation and a beautiful sound.
