First, this strap does not fit on older style protec cases. The attaching hardware does not work. I was suprised to see that this strap was the same as the one I purchased for my french horn case. The case was new, the strap had to be modified to fit. Then, after about three weeks of use the fabric over the padding started to shred.

The supplier responded:Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback, I can only apologise for our error on the description of this item. If you're still interested in sourcing a new strap we can certainly look into this further, we would of course be happy to do this free of charge due to the damage that has already occurred with this particular strap. The strap works excellently with my new protec horn case, I just wish they came together.

Bought this for my ProTec trombone case. Even though I bought my case 4 years ago, the strap still fits perfectly. Can be a little uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time (30 mins plus) but so much easier to move a trombone through a busy train when it\'s on your back! Usual excellent service from Dawkes too
