The supplier responded:Thanks for your recent order. We're sorry that you're not 100% satisfied with this product. If you still have all the original packaging etc please feel free to return it to us for a full refund.

We do sell a good number of these and this hasn't cropped up as an issue before that we've been informed of, and I personally use one on a Yanagisawa Bari without issues etc. I wonder what Bari you have? It would be useful for us to know so if people ask we can inform them etc.
