The Mauriat Le Bravo Soprano Saxophone is a serious option for anyone looking for a high-quality Soprano. Historically around this price point the only real option has been the Yamaha YSS-475 Soprano, now the Le Bravo gives buyers a choice. This Mauriat comes with two silver plated necks (straight and curved) and this is a benefit over the one-piece Yamaha model.

The red brass body is finished in an attractive matt lacquer finish and the ability to choose your preference of straight or curved necks gives the player a chance to perfect their set-up. The curved neck does generally offer a slightly warmer sound, importantly it also changes the intonation. We encourage players to choose based on their mouthpiece set-up and test to find which neck suits them best. With this Le Bravo outfit you can choose and even change as you go.

To keep the price very keen the Le Bravo range are made without engraving. This seems like a small concession but hand-engraving adds a few hours to the cost and so if you're happy without that then you can save some money accordingly. The outfit comes complete with a Mauriat case, a plastic mouthpiece with ligature and cap.
