This is a high quality upgrade wooden Oboe made by the reputable Marigaux company and set up for a British player with a thumb plate modification. These instrument is handmade and would be ideal for the advancing player at Grade 6 or higher looking for a long-lasting professional instrument.

This particular example has been well cared for and has been fully checked, serviced and set-up in our specialist Woodwind workshop prior to sale. The instrument has silver plated keys and a finely selected Grenadilla wood body. The instrument has a rich tone across the whole range and excellent intonation.

The keywork is a full Conservatoire system, with a professionally added thumb plate and would be suitable for high level playing.
