One of our top selling saxophone cleaning accessories the HW tenor sax pad saver is a very popular choice. Made from a propriety mico-fiber material that will not shed, shrink or bleed, these unique pad savers help prolong the life of your pads, and take away moisture from the tone holes and bore. The pad saver can be stored inside or outside the instrument.
Please note - these pad savers don't fit in some Yamaha cases due to the length of the pad saver end plastic vs the length of interior case. The 275/475 range seem to be too short.

As a previous buyer mentioned, it's slightly too big for Yamaha 280 case, but with a little trimming it fits Ok
Happy with this, works well for me.
A real improvement on my previous pad saver
I have only one problem with this otherwise excellent pad saver, I can't use it! The piece of plastic at the top of the product is so big that my saxophone won't fit in its case while the pad saver is in place. This is an issue...
The supplier responded:Thanks for your feedback. I know we've sorted this out directly with you now but it's worth mentioning to other buyers that on some Yamaha Saxes these pad savers have an end piece which protrudes too far out to shut the case. We've found this on some of the 275/280 Yamaha models, if in doubt please contact us to check.
The HW Padsaver for Tenor Sax is excellent value and like all HW's does not shed fibres. More convenient than a pullthrough and just as effective at removing moisture. Gets best results when passed through twice, and let dry for a short while before storing in the body
