The excellent and always popular Howarth S20 is ideal for those wanting their first upgrade wooden Oboe. Made in England, this pre-owned Oboe offers a rich and sonorous tone thanks to the grenadilla wood construction. In particular, this oboe has a beautiful grain pattern on the bell.
This instrument easily meets the needs of playing up to Grade 8 and beyond. The S20 is light in weight and thus suitable for accomplished young players. It includes certain key features, such as semi-automatic octaves, which are essential for playing at an advanced level.
This particular pre-owned example shows only light signs of general use and has been well maintained. Like all pre-owned instruments from Dawkes this Oboe has been professionally checked and set-up in our Woodwind Workshop prior to sale.
