This is a good quality German-made student Bassoon by Huller. This Huller Bassoon is an excellent choice for an advancing student looking for an upgrade instrument. Made in Germany, this model has 5 rollers, a whisper key lock, E/F# trill, alternate Bb keys and an alt g# right hand thumb key. Also included are 2 Huller crooks, a #2 and a #3.

Hullers play with a sweet, dark, chocolatey tone. Responsive and easy to blow, the sound is very even across the range. Intonation is also very good from top to bottom. It would be an excellent choice for any new or advancing student wanting a good quality European Bassoon to go through the first 1-6 grades. Supplied in a hard case with a handrest (bird) and an original Huller reed case.

The instrument has some aesthetic signs of age to the wooden exterior and to some of the silver plated keywork which shows wear and tear at high contact points, but there is nothing that affects the longevity or playability. Our workshop have completely re-padded the instrument and, like all our pre-owned models, we are happy to offer our 6 month secondhand warranty.
