Originally introduced in the early 1960s, the Eterna 900 rapidly became the most popular of Getzens professional trumpets. During 40 years of production, subtle design changes altered the intruments personality. Numerous requests from fans of the early 900 convinced the Getzen Company to return to the original specifications and reintroduce the trumpet as the 900 Eterna Classic.
This classic design is exceptionally free blowing with excellent intonation. The Eterna Classic will serve working musicians and serious amateur players in a variety of music venues.
Made to the highest standards the 900 series have a fantastic valve action and represent the classic American trumpet sound so sought after.
Specifications:
Silver plate finish, .460 bore, nickel silver mouthpipe, nickel silver slides, 4 3/4 yellow brass bell, first valve saddle, adjustable third slide ring. Supplied with hardshell wood case with interior music compartment

Getzen are a family run business and go back to at least three generations. I purchased the Getzen Classic 900 ETERNA some months ago. I was so impressed with the Trumpet that I asked Jon Dawke to order me a second 900 ETERNA as a spare instument. I think this speaks for itself. Anyone thinking of changing there Horn should give the GETZEN range a try at DAWKES.
A Classic design that has never been improved upon in my opinion. It has the right sound for lead trumpet playing and all commercial work. The build quality of GETZEN Brass is second to none. Anyone considering a change of trumpet should give a GETZEN a try.
