Product Information

This pre-owned Loree is an excellent choice for any advanced Oboe player. This French company is the oldest specialist manufacturer of Oboes and are world-renowned for their tonal quality. Players in top orchestras all around the world choose Loree oboes to perform at the highest level.

This oboe is made of a high quality grenadilla wood which is stored and dried for a minimum of 6 to 7 years. The keywork is made of German silver to ensure longevity and a positive action for many decades of use. Each instrument from Loree is hand-finished including perfections in tuning that are individual to each instrument.

We're delighted to have this pre-owned model in our Oboe stock. It is a dual system with a Semi-Automatic octave mechanism. The instrument is strengthened with metal capped tenons and a metal socket in the centre. The key specification includes; low Bb vent, left hand F key, and the C to C# trill key.
