This Elkhart mini Bassoon is designed for small young children aged 7-12. Due to the lightweight and durable ABS body it's easy for small hands to set-up and hold the instrument. The material also ensures there are no issues with wood damage or swollen joints.

This instrument (in F) offers stable intonation across the whole range. It has a rich tone and is perfect for players wanting to learn the Bassoon but who require a smaller than standard instrument to start on. It offers all the feel and sound of a Bassoon but without the cost and practical issues of owning an expensive full-sized instrument.

This Bassoon comes with the crook and case, plus some associated accessories for general maintenance. The layout and key configuration ensures young/small players can start in a way that will help them progress easily when moving onto a standard full-sized bassoon.
