The 88HY has a yellow brass bell for a clear, immediate tone and response.

The 88H series grew from the original design of the 8H in the 1940s. At that time an optional F attachment was available to fit but as the musical requirements of the day changed Conn realised a specialist Bb/F instrument was required to meet these demands.

The current 88H series was re-designed in the 1990s again in response to the needs of modern players and repertoires.

US Studio Artist Bill Reichenbach: The Conn 88H is a good sounding, flexible, easy to play Horn. The slide action is better than ever and the trigger range speaks well. Conn has recreated a classic.

Symphony, Christian Lindberg model, .547 (13.89mm) bore, .562 (14.27mm) bore through F attachment, 8-1/2 (216mm) yellow brass bell, rose brass outer slide,

lacquer finish, Conn 5G mouthpiece, 7552L deluxe woodshell case. This famous tenor model delivers superior response in all registers.
