After many years of trying products in different materials, shapes and sizes we have finally found one we can wholeheartedly recommend. They are a soft, dense chenille which holds on the fibres better than most pipe cleaners, meaning you get a fluff free clean up every time.

They are highly absorbent and come in two different diameters: 6mm and 4mm. This is the thicker of the two (6mm) perfect for Saxophone hinge tubing amongst many other uses.

They come in one meter lengths. That way you can cut it to whatever size you need and get more use out of your pipe cleaners. No more throwing away a pipe cleaner that’s just used on either end. We like keeping the full meter in our toolkit and just using the tip to clean up hinge tubing etc. When worn and dirty we can simply snip the end off and have a clean section to use. 

It shapes easily and can be doubled up for cleaning thumb bushes or oiling toneholes and are now a solid favourite in our workshop.
