This Bach 50B2 features a dependent double rotor, giving the player Bb/F/Eb. The 50B2 has a 9-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered yellow brass bell that has defined the symphonic sound for generations.
This particular example is in good overall aesthetic condition. There are general signs of use including some very minor 'dings' in the brass but nothing untoward. The slide is running smoothly and the whole instrument has been checked and set-up in our workshop prior to sale ensuring you can buy in total confidence.
The .562" large bore combined with the open wrap F/Eb attachments offers outstanding clarity and projection with just the right amount of resistance. The chrome plated nickel silver inner handslide tubes provide the ideal surface for smooth and quick handslide action. The clear lacquer finish adds a subtle warmth to the sound overall.
