The Rolls Royce of Bass Clarinets...This new Buffet Tosca Bass to low C is firmly based around the Prestige model in terms of keywork and layout but it does feature some different adjusting screws and most importantly a double vent for the throat Bb and upper registers.

This addition (as demonstrated in our videos below) gives the Tosca a real clarity and support in the upper register which is so commonly missing on Low C model Bass Clarinets. Combine that with elegantly shaped and positioned keywork and you have quite possibly the finest modern Bass Clarinet in production.

Please Note: Like all instruments Dawkes provide this Buffet Tosca Bass Clarinet benefits from our professional workshop set-up. This is absolutely critical with Bass Clarinets in particular where the pre-sale check can run into hours on these instruments. This is because there are so many ways they can be refined & improved ‘out of the box’.

Beautiful instrument, really sings out in the clarion register, no \"stuffiness\" going across the break.
Having had an Eb for years, am enjoying the extended range down to low C. (Bizzarely, D,C# & C make my specs vibrate !)
Mouthpiece that comes with it is a good \'un.
Great travelling case.
