Product Information
Developed in 1975 by Robert Carrée, whose initials this family of instruments bears, the RC clarinet is characterised by a focused purity of sound. The ease of response and stability in all registers is a result of the specific design of this bore. The RC’s considerably flexibility has conquered the hearts and minds of many musicians all over Europe.
In Eb form, the RC offers a slightly warmer alternative to the more strident Buffet R13 Eb. The RC has a richer lower register and sweeter upper register, potentially at the expense of a tiny bit of projection. All in all, a great option for any advanced Eb Clarinet player, perhaps wanting a warmer set-up or to match RC family Bb/A clarinets.
