This new Buffet Prodige Clarinet replaces the ever popular Buffet B12 model, Buffet Crampon has revolutionised the student clarinet! Now, beginners on a budget can start out with a professional sound.
The essential qualities of the Buffet Prodige clarinet are tone, ergonomics and reliability. For the first time in this sector, the required operations for creating perfect acoustics, especially the moulding and drilling of the bore, are performed entirely in France and Germany to ensure a consistent result.
Prodige’s new bore, inspired by the renowned E13 model, allows an unprecedented ease of play and projection of sound. The intervals between notes are pitch-perfect and balanced. The Prodige bell has also been entirely reworked in order to optimise projection and now features a textured internal bore. It is now possible for a young musician to learn to play on a professional-sounding clarinet at a reasonable price.

Excellent clarinet, very pleased with the purchase
it sounds better than her old one
Haven’t spent enough time with it yet to give a review but so far so good
This is my second clarinet, my first was a relatively inexpensive Chinese instrument. I expected the Buffet Prodige to be so much better. It cost three times as much, but was only marginally superior in my opinion.
Very pleased with Clarinet and price. Enjoying my self teaching and practice every day. As a 76 year old music lover I'm loving the experience.

I bought this instrument for a pupil; it plays well, with good intonation and a pleasant tone. I was not too impressed with the Urban Play mouthpiece that came with the clarinet - it sounds much better with a Vandoren BD4 mouthpiece!
