The flagship Buffet professional Clarinet, the Legende features many new manufacturing developments and techniques to give the discerning Clarinet player the ultimate instrument.

The body itself features GreenLine tone hole slots which ensure an air-tight seal and flawless tone quality. The GreenLine slots eliminate the risk of any cracking or wood damage and adds a consistency to the tone across the whole register. The Legende also features the Buffet low F correction vent key to enhance the intonation at the low end of the instrument.

The multi-stage bore shaping is the most complex in the Buffet range, this is what helps give such impeccable intonation and flexibility of tone across the instrument. The sound is rich and full of plenty of sparkle and clarity when required. At lower volumes it oozes a dense 'woody' quality to the tone, and when pushed to louder dynamics it retains a solid core without any stridency found on cheaper models.

The Legende looks resplendent in its two-tone finish with silver plate and rose gold trim. The metal capped tenon joints add both stability to the core sound and offer a longevity of use which means this Legende could be a once in a lifetime purchase.

This particular pre-owned example is in excellent order throughout with very slight fading of the logo where you’d expect on the top joint. The plating, padding, springing and corks are all in excellent condition. The instrument has also been fully checked and serviced. It comes with the complete original outfit including hard case.
