Buffet’s entry into the student Bass Clarinet market, this superb wooden low Eb Bass plays with real richness and punch in the low register. Thanks to a reimagined and simplified register key system, the clarinet jumps around with the flexibility of a smaller instrument.

The 1180 is the only student level bass to be made from grenadilla wood, which gives the sound of the bass depth and power. Intonation is excellent and playing across the break is easy, and Buffet have worked hard to make the sound across the whole range of the clarinet as homogeneous as possible.
