This is the BG B3B Clarinet mouthpiece made of a black bio-compatible material. This B3B is a very versatile and consistent clarinet mouthpiece that is designed for the modern player performing a range of genres and styles.

The tip opening is 1.15mm and it has a facing length of 19.2mm which is a medium facing. This facing (combined with the 1.15mm tip) means you can play reeds from #2 to #3 quite easily. 

In testing we've found this BG B3B Clarinet mouthpiece to be really fun to play. It's easy-blowing, has a very consistent and immediate tone from top to bottom and can lend itself to any sort of musical style.

The bio-compatible material has a very similar density to ebonite but without the same issues of warping over time, or tarnishing silver plating on your instrument. The traditional cork has been replaced by a synthetic ring allowing a consistent and airtight seal with the barrel.

I didn't find this clarinet mouthpiece flexible and too resistant.

This is an interesting mouthpiece, unlike anything I've tried before. It certainly allows you to shape the sound and it's very sensitive. However, it wasn't for me in the end as it didn't quite give the sound I was looking for.
