Product Information

The new Berp bio oil is non-toxic and petroleum free. This is the light viscosity version in a 1oz bottle. The light viscosity makes this oil ideal for brand new instruments and some brands (Yamaha) with very close valve casing tolerances.

This new oil has been developed by the Berp team (who make a range of Brass accessories) and the scientist from Novvi (pioneers in bio lubricants). The oil is produced in the USA from sustainably grown sugarcane. 

This oil has no adverse effect (no calcium build up) on your valves whether they are nickel-plated, monel-plated or raw brass.

All Berp Bio Oil is:

The product is great, but I am not over impressed with Dawkes delivery timescales. On the last two times, that I have ordered this delivery, I have paid for first class post to get the product sooner, only for them to take a couple of days to despatch it. Admittedly I may get the product quicker via 1st than 2nd class post, but it would help if Dawkes would despatch at first opportunity.

The supplier responded:Dear customer, Thank you for your feedback. I apologise your order didn't reach you sooner however I can see that the order was placed after our 2pm postal cut-off on a Friday and unfortunately, as our dispatch team doesn't work over the weekend, this meant that it wasn't dispatched until Monday which meant that it would have been delayed reaching you. Whilst we find that orders sent on Fridays can often not be delivered until Monday, we do offer the option for Saturday courier delivery (if ordered before 2pm) if you require the order more urgently.
