Product Information
This is a generic spring set with sizes based on averages. Every make and model is different, and without knowing the history of the specific pillar and spring hole, we cannot guarantee these needle springs will fit your instrument. Older instruments may have had springs replaced many times and have enlarged spring holes, these would certainly require unique sizing.
The Italian blue steel needle springs will need to be cut to size and hammered (fish-tailed) at one end to fit correctly into the pillars. We would not recommend taking on this repair without proper tools and experience.
*Please note these sets are not suitable for old Buescher True Tone Saxophones or any model where the spring is screwed in - these are called 'Norton' springs which we also stock

Just what I required to repair my sax
Pack contained a range of diameters including exactly what I was after. Had to cut it to length, and fishtail it, but I was expecting that. First time I tried this but it was a fairly straight forward job. However I would suggest if you doubt your technical skills get a professional instrument repairer involved.
