Product Information

Bore oil is used to maintain the inside of wooden instruments. Designed to protect the bore from warping or cracking. A must for all wooden clarinet and oboe owners. Use sparingly on a pull-through. Alisyn oil is long lasting and offers conditioning and lubrication.

To use take a small swab and soak with oil, wring out any excess in kitchen roll. Pull through the instrument several times to deposit a thin smear evenly throughout the bore. Use twice weekly for 2 months with new instruments and once a fortnight for used instruments.

Works as I thought it should. Absorbs well into the wood (oboe), and wipes away any excess with a nice sheen on the surface.
