Product Information

The Aizen SO Tenor Sax mouthpieces offers a fat and clear sound. Based on an old Selmer Soloist design with a horseshoe shaped chamber and medium-short facing length. We find the SO offers quite a different sound palette compared to the large chamber Aizen LS model and to the darker, tubbier ZERO model.

The SO version has a lot of projection and is extremely easy and immediate to play. Players wanting a little extra bite without losing the quality and weight of tone would like the SO. Ideal for lead in a Big Band, R&B, Soul, Pop, Funk, but this SO model can also turn its hand to that classic vintage sound if matched up with a suitable vintage Sax.
