This high-quality German made Bassoon from Adler is something of a ‘hybrid’ short-reach model. For instance there are no open holes on the wing joint and reduced keywork on the boot joint, but it does have a high D key. It would be a good solid instrument for use throughout the grades, perhaps ideal for adults with smaller hands.

The Adler bassoons are made from long-term stored and naturally dried maple wood. The wing hole and tight boot tube are lined, the finger holes are with plastic of have metal sleeves fitted. The instrument comes with a standard wing lock. The re-designed, narrowly designed mechanism is particularly suitable for those with smaller hands.

Like all our pre-owned instruments it has been fully checked and set-up in our specialist on-site workshop prior to sale. This ensures the instrument is blowing perfectly and we offer it with a 6 month warranty and 14 day home approval so you can try the instrument with a teacher or in a band to ensure you're happy with it after purchase.
