Sankyo, the excellently regarded Japanese flute makers, have a great reputation for their intermediate and pro level flutes. The 202 Prima is a closed hole flute with a 925 Sterling Silver head, silver plated body and keywork. It has a powerful, dark sound in the lower register and a real sweetness in the upper registers.

This particular Prima has fantastic intonation from top to bottom and is in remarkably good condition for its age. The plating doesn’t show very much more than very light surface scratches from normal use. Our workshop have carried out a complete overhaul on this flute, so all of the pads, corks and felts have been replaced, so the instrument is in as close to new condition as possible. We’re pleased to offer our 6 month secondhand warranty with this flute.
