Product Information
The European Cut Series for Clarinet is the next advancement in Légère synthetic reed development. The reed is characterised by a slightly shorter and wider vamp that is comfortable in the embouchure. There is a band of extra material along the spine that provides rigidity without compromising the reed's free blowing nature or high register stability.
The European Cut Series is designed specifically for French mouthpieces and will not work on most German mouthpieces.

- Also can be used on Selmer and other (non German) European made mouthpieces
- Very durable material - can last months
- We find synthetic reeds commonly more suited to closer facing mouthpieces requiring less of the reed to flex

Played well from the start.
For me, the Legere clarinet reeds aren't as good as the saxophone ones, but nevertheless a great back-up option.
This Reed gives a much brighter tone to the music and plays straight away without having to dampen it first.
So easy to use compared to standard Reed, just put the Reed on and play.. Love the sound it makes.

I’ve tried several synthetic reeds over the last few years but I have never been quite satisfied with their response and sound, until now. I am very pleased with this European Cut Legere. It is free speaking and rich sounding and at last I can wave goodbye to cane!
Works well and lasts 3 - 6 months
Consistently great sound and they last much longer than cane reeds. I quickly learned to avoid clumsiness around the tip because it can get expensive replacing them before really necessary.
