This is a nice clean condition lacquered Getzen 3850-LV Custom Bb Cornet. This is the leading professional Cornet from the Getzen USA range and it competes favourably with the Besson Sovereign and Yamaha equivalents. This particular example is very clean throughout and the lacquer is in nice clean order. The LV denotes the lever style water keys, instead of Amado ‘push’ style.

The 3850 Custom features many excellent technical features which help give it longevity and ease of use. These include; nickel silver balusters, yellow brass inside slide tubes and of course the legendary Getzen nickel plated, nickel silver pistons. It also features a 4 ¾ inch tempered sheet copper bell with a seamless design. 

The combination of the bell material and the larger .462 inch bore gives this instrument a classic Cornet sound which would be ideal in brass band settings. These models also come with 1st and 3rd slide triggers for quick and accurate intonation adjustment.

Like all our pre-owned Brass instruments this Cornet has been fully checked, set-up and tested in our workshop prior to sale by an experienced brass technician. It comes supplied with a Getzen 4B cornet mouthpiece (used) and the original hard case.
