This is a good condition pre-owned example of this P.Mauriat System 76 Alto Saxophone from P.Mauriat. Designed and produced in Taiwan, the P.Mauriat range has established itself as a good alternative to the mainstream brands such as Yamaha, Yanagisawa etc.
This System 76 is one of their most popular models and features an increased bore and bell size for a warm full-bodied tone. It has some neat little touches including the coloured genuine Abalone touchpieces and a gorgeous hand engraving on the bell & bow.
The visual condition is very good and so are the pads, springs and corks. This particular instrument has only had light general use and as such only exhibits standard signs of general aesthetic wear. The instrument is supplied in the original Pro-Tec case which is brilliantly protective. In summary this is a characterful sounding sax in good, clean condition that would make an excellent choice for anyone seeking a quality upgrade model.
