Instrument Rental

The most common Clarinet to start on is the B♭ Clarinet. We offer the reliable Yamaha student model.

We also offer an upgrade wooden model for advanced players. If you’re looking for a harmony instrument we offer rental A Clarinets, E♭ Clarinets and Bass Clarinets.

Many new players begin on Alto Sax, but some adults also consider Tenor Sax as their first instrument. If you’re looking for a child, it would commonly be an Alto Sax you need.

We also offer rental on Soprano and Baritone Saxophones. The Curved Soprano is ideal for very young/small players. We advise checking with your teacher first.

Most new beginners start on a straight Flute in C. Some very young players with small arms may require a curved head joint model. We advise checking with your teacher if you are unsure.

We also offer the Piccolo on a monthly rental for any Flautists who want to try one out before committing to a purchase, or indeed who just need one for a fixed period.

We offer two rental Oboe options depending on the players age and reach. We advise checking with your teacher if you’re unsure.

The Howarth Junior Oboe is designed for very young players with small hands. It uses a simplified key system. However, the Yamaha Oboe is the popular choice for most players, it uses a normal student key system with covered holes.

We offer both the Short Reach and Standard key configurations on bassoon. The Short Reach model is advisable for younger players who may need help with the fingering.

However, any teenagers or adults would be fine using a Standard Reach Bassoon. If in doubt, please check with the teacher beforehand.

We offer two rental Trombone options. The Compact Trombone has a smaller slide and rotor to help young players with smaller reach.

However, most people (unless very young) start on a standard Tenor Trombone. We offer the Yamaha model which is an excellent instrument.

Our French Horn in Bb or F models are single horns. They are lighter and less complex. They are ideal for any young beginner.

For any adults, or those progressing from a single, we offer the Full Double Horn. This is a fully-fledged B♭/F system and is larger and heavier.

Our low brass rental instruments are high-quality Yamaha models. They are easy to play and very durable. We offer a 3V Bb Euphonium and a 3V EEb Tuba.
